The future farm addresses the questions: How can they interaction of digital “helpers” in the field and in the barn be optimally successful? What are the challenges when merging the systems? Where do the experts still have to intervene? What is helpful and goal-oriented for work and economic success and what is not? The project participants are looking for answers to these questions. They investigate new techniques and methods in agricultural technology and crop production and the networking of digital concepts and modules. In doing so, they have practice-oriented integrated solutions instead of isolated solutions in mind. The results flow into practice- oriented training and education based on validated methods and data. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit to mixed farm This farm is involved in many different aspects. Production of milk from cattle the farm raised on their own, cash crop production, feed production and biogas production. Breakfast at hotel In the morning departure for Oranienburg and guided visit of Sachsenhausen concentration camp. 1933 the local SA regiment set up the first concentration camp in Prussia in a vacant factory building in the centre of Oranienburg. In the months following the assumption of power by the National Socialists, Oranienburg took on a key role in the persecution of the opposition, especially in the “Reich” capital, Berlin. Sachsenhausen concentration camp was built in the summer of 1936 as a model and training camp. Tens of thousands of the more than 200,000 prisoners interned here died as a result of hunger, disease, forced labor and mistreatment or were victims of systematic extermination operations by the SS.
