Greece Farm Tour
Santorini Island – Acropolis and Ancient Ruins – Dairy Cattle and Sheep – Cotton Production - Fruits
Greece boasts a rich agricultural heritage developed over centuries. The country's varied climate and diverse topography contribute to a wide range of agricultural products. Olive trees, a symbol of Greek agriculture, thrive in the sun-drenched landscapes, producing some of the world's finest olive oil. Citrus fruits such as oranges and lemons flourish in the southern regions, while the fertile plains support the growth of cotton, wheat and barley. The country is also known for its production of feta cheese, which is made from sheep's and goat's milk, reflecting the significance of livestock farming, particularly sheep and goats, in rural areas. Traditional farming methods are often intertwined with modern agricultural practices, allowing Greek farmers to maintain the quality and authenticity of their products.

These buildings often feature arched roofs and doors, designed to withstand the island's windy conditions. The use of natural materials, such as volcanic stone and local limestone, adds to the rustic charm and authenticity of the architecture. Today learn about traditional farming techniques passed down through generations, all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Santorini's iconic caldera and azure Aegean Sea.
